Aussie Hydracraft Tri Hull is the "THE NEXT GENERATION" in strong lightweight fibreglass boats.
The design principals of the mono hull, the catarmaran and the trimaran are combind into one form, and what you end up with is a performance design that has evolved over the years.
The design concept originated in the u.s.a back in the 19 30s all were made of timber and were called tunnel boats designed for speed boat raceing.

The undulating profile bottom of the tri hull is to reduce the wet area of the boat,this also decreases the displacement and the result is that as you increase the speed it increases the amount of air forced into the tunnels.
This gives a soft quiet HYDRO-PLANE (cusion of air) ride, while creating less wet area around the hull resulting in less wake (low wash).
With modern stylish lines, a stronger lightweight construction, the Aussie Hydracraft Tri Hull needs less horsepower to get up on the plane, this means less fuel consumtion and less cost.
